Diaper Derby 2010!

On March 13 2010, KayLee got her 5 minutes of what you can call "fame" during the Diaper Derby during the half time of the Jazz Game!

She wasn't too interested in crawling, instead she spent the time looking around at everything that was going on. As I sat at the finish line screaming her name, she didn't look at me at all! She loved all of everything else that was going on.

They had the babies wear "bumper stickers" with their name on it. Me and Jake wore name tags that said "Team KayLee"!

Big Girl Bath!

When we moved into Liberty Landing I started giving KayLee Big Girl Baths! A big girl bath is a bath NOT in the little baby tub thing!

This was her first one, and she LOVES it!

KayLee's Blessing!

We blessed KayLee on December 6, 2009! She was adorable! Thanks Abba for the blessing dress... it was beautiful!

1 Year Anniversary!

Last November Jake and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary. We went to Las Vegas, it was such a blast. We did all sorts of things... Go Kart racing, wax museum, went to the top of the Stratosphere, went to the fabulous LV Zoo and feed the monkeys, Sigfried and Roy's, and saw Blue Man Group! Here are some pictures from the weekend!

I don't think we were supposed to feed the animals, but we could not resist. The monkeys were so cute and came right up to the fence, stuck their arm through the wholes, and waited for us to give them a leaf. It was adorable!

This is us at the Sigfried and Roy's thing... it was really neat! They had the biggest lions and tigers... here are some pictures of that....

For our "anniversary date", we went to dinner at some really nice restaurant that overlooked the inside of the Venetian, the food was so good, and our waiter was so nice!

After dinner we went and saw Blue Man Group! It was such a cool show! We sat in the "splash zone". There is a part that they throw paint so they give you these ponchos to wear! It was funny!

It was so nice to get away just the two of us and spend the entire weekend together! It was a blast! It was also really nice to go home and see our baby girl again!
